THE BOOK CLUB
We're a fairly casual group, nine of us including one member from Barkby, and we meet every six to eight weeks on a Tuesday at 8pm. A book is chosen at each meeting for discussion next time and we get our own, either bought or from the library. We tend to stick to fiction, but we've had biography, history, travel and poetry occasionally.
If anyone else would like to join they can contact me, Richard Taylor.
The Dog and Gun has a fantastic petanque team operating during the summer months in the Leicestershire Petanque League. If you would like to join please get in touch with Pete Hawker or the pub.
Classes are being held in the Village Hall from 7pm - 8pm on a Wednesday evening.
Subsidised by Keyham Charities and Keyham Village Hall and is, therefore, FREE to villagers. Mats provided if you don't have your own.
More information from Lynette Harrison.
