About Keyham Parish Meeting

Each Parish in the UK has an elected Parish Council. However, smaller communities (such as Keyham) can have a Parish Meeting with an elected Parish Chairman. Your current Parish Chairman is Tony Johnson.

Your Parish Meeting is the first point of contact for a whole range of services that the community receives e.g. street lighting, road maintenance, policing, waste collections. Contact details below.

The Parish receives a small amount of money each year from your Council Tax payments (typically £3,000 to £4,000).

The Parish Meeting works closely with Harborough District and Leicestershire County councils and consults the Leicestershire & Rutland Association of Local Councils for advice and guidance.

There is an annual Parish Meeting in March/April; the minutes of recent year's meetings can be found below. The Parish Chairman is elected at this meeting and key issues relating to the village are discussed.
